Have you ever paid attention to your thoughts? No, I’m not asking how often you talk to yourself, because we all do that all too much to even remember!  I’m asking, have you ever taken the time to stop and think about what you are thinking?

Recent studies show, that the average person has anywhere from 30,000-60,000 thoughts per day, and approximately 80% of these thoughts are negative.  Whoa! Do I dare say that again?  Approximately 80% of your daily thoughts are negative…

In other words, most of your thoughts are toxic!

If you’ve ever read ‘The Law of Attraction’ (No, not the Secret, the actual book titled, “The Law of Attraction” by Esther & Jerry Hicks), you have at least heard that, “A belief is a thought I simply
keep thinking.”  Ah, well, if your beliefs come from your thoughts, and your thoughts are mostly driven by fear, I wonder, how toxic are you?

Toxic Thinking leads to toxic beliefs, which ultimately lead to toxic experiences.

Is that what you truly want?

In my workshops, I teach that there are truly two things that drive us in this life…Love & fear.  To make it even simpler…one feels good, and one feels bad.

When you are driven by Love, you are aligned with Source energy (Spirit, God).  You feel uplifted and can go with the flow of life.  People tend to call this, the good feeling.  On the other hand, if you are driven by fear, you often feel angry, annoyed, frustrated, depressed, or worried.   You guessed it…the bad feeling.

Now, close your eyes, think about your day, or even the thoughts that might be coming to you right now.  Are they driven by Love or fear?  Feel your feelings.  Allow yourself to feel whatever comes to you.  If it’s a bad feeling, then you know that it is driven by fear.  Don’t run and hide or even push it out of your head.  Instead, breathe in deeply through your nose, and release your breath out slowly through your mouth.  If you’re doing this exercise and you feel scared, then simply say out loud, “I am safe!”  If you are feeling despair about finances, turn it around, and say, “I am prosperous.  Money flows easily to me.”  If you are feeling alone, say, “I am loved and appreciated everywhere I turn.”

The truth of the matter is that you may not believe what you are saying when you are turning around this negative thought, BUT if ‘a belief is a thought I keep thinking,’ then if I keep saying this new thought, I will someday soon start to believe it…and when I believe that new thought, I have it!

Here’s something else to ponder…Fear is actually False Evidence Appearing Real! So, if you don’t believe the NEW thought you’re teaching your mind to adopt, then why should you believe in false evidence that is just simply appearing real?

Ask yourself daily, hourly, moment to moment…What is driving me right now?

Love or fear?
